It's becoming a tradition. The spring warm-up trip to Lesser Slave Lake. It's a warm-up for the gear, not necessarily for the weather. This year we left Calgary as it was starting to snow. The snow turned to rain as we went further north and lost elevation. Eventually it stopped raining so we unrolled our bed and slept under the stars in Lesser Slave Provincial Park. The next day we drove around to Shaw's Point and hung out with the rest of the family. The weather was a little cool, but this didn't slow down the fishing activity! The littlest person (Ronia) caught the largest fish with the smallest fishing rod.
